Aikido Dojo Tadashi Vráble

Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba. It is characterized by a defensive strategy that uses harmonization of energy and self-defense techniques instead of brute force. Both children and adults can practice regardless of age or fitness level.

Aikido Dojo Tadashi Vráble has been active since 1993 and is a member of the Slovak Aikido Association (SAA), which is a member of the International Aikido Federation (IAF) and registered at Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo. Training is led by experienced instructors who regularly attend seminars at home and abroad to continuously develop their skills and bring new experiences to training.

Aikido training beyond the tatami

Aikido is learned primarily on the tatami – in movement, in contact with a partner, and under the guidance of a teacher. However, every aikidoka knows those moments when they are away from the dojo and mentally replaying techniques, attacks, or exam sequences.

For such moments, we have prepared a new digital tool on the Aikido Vráble website that can serve as a study aid for aikido outside of training.

It is not a replacement for training. It is a supplement that helps you stay in “training mode” even when you are not on the tatami.
